Jim Grevel

Jim was born and raised in Muskegon and then spent 15 years in Florida. While in Florida he worked for Lee County Parks and Recreation in Fort Myers running all the baseball events that were held at historic Terry Park, the Minnesota Twins complex, and the Boston Red Sox Spring Training home.

During his tenure there he assisted many youth baseball organizations and ran the Gene Cusic Colligate Classic. The Cusic consisted of 165 colleges from all over the US who came to play in Florida over a five week period to kick off their seasons. When Jim left Lee County he went to work with Perfect Game and was involved in Perfect Game events all over the Southeast.

Jim has now brought the experience he gained in Florida to Michigan to help grow baseball in that state. In Muskegon, there were 65 games played on Marsh Field in 2009. In 2010 Jim's Lakeshore Baseball Club group put together leagues and tournaments and from April to August over 180 games were played at Marsh Field and another 280 games were played at other local fields.
